How to submit entries

The VIDICAL International Calendar, Christmas Card and New Year’s Eve Card Competition opening and prize-giving ceremony takes place each year in February. Consequently, VIDICAL 2013 will arrive this February as the 9th international and, together with 15 Polish-wide editions, 25th competition overall.

If you are a publisher, designer, photographer, printer or any other kind of contributor involved in creating calendars or Christmas/New Year’s Eve cards, remember this date and place your entry. This is your best chance to show your work to the world and save it from oblivion. All entries are presented in the exhibition catalog and the winners, chosen by an international Jury, become part of the Poznań National Museum collection.

In VIDICAL nobody loses. Even if your work has not been awarded – you won because you took the opportunity to showcase your talents or promote your company. The only way you can fail is to fail to take part in the Competition. VIDICAL is pure democracy. An enormously expensive calendar of a big company has the same chance of winning as a modest piece published by a one-person agency. What counts is the idea, ingeniousness, imagination and appeal rather than big money or big names. So grab your chance! Read the rules, fill in the application form and send it to us along with three copies of your calendar or Christmas/New Year Eve’s card. It’s that simple. We are looking forward to receiving your entries.

The Competition is open and all kinds of calendars and Christmas Christmas/New Year Eve’s cards are accepted. There are no limits on the number of entries submitted.
